My personal tips for wellbeing while wfh and social distancing!
Happy May Day everyone! We made it through an entire calendar month+ of staying at home. You may have changed your daily routine, or lost it completely. But, there are small things you can do every day to stay well and happy even during these huge changes.
FEED YOUR CREATIVITY
Love Good Color | One of my favorite design groups, including the fabulous Laura Guido Clark. I follow the Instagram page for daily inspiration.
Weed & Read | My favorite pass-time. I put on an audiobook and start weeding my flower beds. If you have a library card, you have access to thousands of free audiobooks through RB Digital and Hoopla. I'm currently listening to Normal People, which is also a new Hulu TV show.
REST UP
Insight Timer | I use this app for any meditation, but I especially love the bedtime stories! My recent favorite is The Wind in the Willows. But my go-to is A Day in the City. I'm asleep in about 10 minutes after I turn these on!
STRETCH YOUR MUSCLES
Android Stretching App | Super simple guided stretching. I like to do this in the morning and before bed. There are lots of routines to select from.
NEVER STOP LEARNING
Full Color Fridays | While you may be missing that daily collaboration, here is an opportunity to get another perspective on your projects. Laura Guido Clark hosts one hour discussions to answer your color questions.
Designers in Dwellings Having Donuts | Brought to you by Martin Brattrud, a quick 30 minute discussion with the MB designers. So far, we've seen Brian Graham, Chris Adamick, and Laura Guido Clark. Watch for new invites, or see past episodes on Vimeo.
Walk-inars | Tired of webinars? Give me a call, I'll come over (in Spokane or Cd'A) or meet you at a trailhead and get some fresh air. We can walk and talk and I can teach you something if you want... or not!
